With New Year's Eve rapidly approaching, everywhere I turn, someone is talking about New Year's resolutions: making them, keeping them, sharing them...
Personally, I have never been a fan of these resolutions. It is easy to make grand plans and put together a fabulous wish list at the beginning of a new year, but it is even easier to give up on New Year's resolutions come February. Don't get me wrong - I don't mean one should wing her way through life, making things up as she goes. Still, the next day is not guaranteed to any of us, so whatever plans we make, they need to be flexible enough to accommodate the unknown and unexpected.
Apart from applying this philosophy to my personal life, I have - for the most part - applied it to my business as well. Of course, business plans need to be a bit firmer than the personal plans, but they are not set in stone either. That said, I have determined one 2016 goal for hART Sense Design that should become a guiding principle for all other goals in the coming year: listening more carefully to customers' and followers' opinions and wishes. So, how do I accomplish this? With YOUR help, of course.
How can you help? By joining our new and exclusive BCC Club (Boho Chic Cowgirl Club). The Club will be the place where most behind-the-scenes action happens at hART Sense Design, and where you can have your say in what new designs we release, what giveaway prizes we offer, and much more.
If you want to be privy to secret sales, exclusive discounts, sample sales, and giveaways available neither to the general public nor our social media followers, join the Club.
If you would like exclusive opportunity to place custom orders, join the Club.
If you want to give your input on future designs and see sneak previews of new items slated for release, join the Club.
If you feel special and want us to treat you as such... you guessed it, join the Club.
BCC Club is a free-to-join, exclusive, by invitation only, gathering of our customers, blog followers, and social media friends whose creative minds and input we highly value. To join this fine group, click on any of the links above, and you will be transported to the Club Sign-Up page. Once you have filled out the form and requested to join, your name will be added to our Club Membership List, and you will receive your secret access code a few days before the club's grand opening. Make sure to keep your code in a safe spot so you can access the Club in the future. You won't be able to reach it by searching for it by name through any of the search engines, and there will be no Club Lounge (or should we say, Club Corral) link on our website either. We are expecting to have the Club Corral ready for your enjoyment by mid-January, but should we run into any unexpected construction snags, everyone who requested to join the Club will be timely notified by e-mail.
Great things are coming to hART Sense Design in 2016, and we hope you will join us. Until then, celebrate with joy but in moderation. Happy New Year!

If you feel like the gift giving snuck up on you this year, fear not! In this last installment of our 2015 Holiday Gift Guides, we are offering you a few stylish options for last minute gifts for her. Whether she is a stylish cowgirl, a boho babe, or a western style loving woman, we are sure you will find something in the suggestions below that would tickle her fancy.
We have separated our gift suggestions by price point to make your shopping easier and, if you order by December 22nd and request expedited shipping, your gift will arrive in time for the festivities.
So, let's start with a selection of high end gifts which are suitable for those occasions when you want to impress her. Prices in this category range from $75.00 to $300.00 - perfect for telling her she is priceless.
If she is as good as gold, consider one of our gold vermeil designs: a pair of Long, Multi-Gemstone Earrings (1) or an elegant Green Gemstone Necklace that combines jade, emerald, vessonite, peridot, and prehnite with freshwater pearls and quartz (6). If she prefers sterling silver and south-western tones of turquoise and coral, surprise her with a Turquoise & Coral Necklace with Silver Dipped Natural Aspen Leaf (4) or an Argentium Silver Wire Knitted Bracelet with Blue Druzy Cabochon (5). On the other hand, if she seems to be a bit more on the boho chic side, offer her the Knitted Copper Wire Bracelet with Turquoise and Coral (3). Last but not least, an elegant boho babe would love the Andalusia Hoop Earrings (2) created in copper, sterling silver, garnet, peridot, and pearls.

If your gift budget tops off at $99.00, here some stylish, unique, yet moderately priced gift ideas. Your stylish cowgirl would love one or more of the Convertible Leather, Gemstone, and Sterling Silver Necklaces (1). Designed to be worn either as a necklace or as a wrap bracelet, they will definitely give you more proverbial bang for your buck. On the other hand, if your golden girl prefers something more traditional, check out the Green Meadow Gold Vermeil Bracelet (2) with prehnite, freshwater pearls, and apatite or the Queen of Gypsies Chandelier Earrings (5) with a dancing fringe of gemstones in the colors of red, orange, green, pink, and blue. If she prefers sterling silver and the more traditional blue and red of south-western designs, surprise her with an unexpected version of the familiar style: Jasper and Amazonite Fan Necklace (6). For the artsy-boho type on your gift list, consider our Heard It Through The Grapevine wire wrapped lariat style necklace with freshwater pearls, silk, copper, and art glass (3), and for the stylish cowgirl, check out the one-of-a-kind Cross Motif Copper Wire Knitted Cuff bracelet (4).

Another option is the unique pair of copper wrapped Carnelian & Turquoise Earrings on sterling silver ear wires (2). Got a silver lover to buy a gift for? Try the Waterfall Bib Necklace (4) with sterling silver, turquoise, coral, and freshwater pearls. This design is being discontinued, so get it at a greatly discounted price before it's gone forever. For a gift recipient born in February, try a pair of Amethyst Drop Earrings (5) on sterling silver ear wires for those sensitive ears.

This is the third installment of our 5-part Holiday Gift Guide series (other installments found here), and it's time to talk about gift ideas for the little ones in your life - little cowboys and little cowgirls to be more precise. Toys, candy, and clothing are a no-brainer, but we have found some interesting options to tickle your fancy.
Instead of a plain rocking horse, we thought these upcycled Giddyup Rocking Stools by Tim Wigmore (1) would be much more fun for a little cowboy. It would get him well on his way through the three life stages: Crawl, Walk, Rodeo depicted on a fun onesie (2) we found on Etsy. Once he is up to that second, walking stage, giving the little Faux Ostrich Boots from Drysdales (4) as a gift would make a whole lot of sense. To help with preparing for the rodeo it's advisable to have a Bull Rider Vest (3) and to know a cow's anatomy (5). The former can be found at Sheplers, and the latter can be learned by putting together a Wooden Cow Puzzle from Etsy. For those parents who think Drool is another life stage in a little cowboy's development, we have found a fun Cowhide Print Bib (6) on Zazzle.

Little cowgirls are made of sugar, and spice, and everything nice, right? What if yours has been naughty this year? Does she still get a gift? But, of course! Check out selection number 4 below!
No, no! We don't suggest giving her a pouch filled with real coal. This coal is much more fun: Coal Candy (4) from Old Time Candy store. You must admit, it would make her little heart sink though... If on the other hand, your little cowgirl has been nothing but nice, here are some gift ideas for her. A personalized Cowgirl iPhone Case (1) from Zazzle would appeal to any tween. A tiny little cowgirl would look really pretty in a Boot Applique Onesie with Ruffled Cowgirl Bloomers (2) from Etsy, and a Barbie collector would swoon over a Western Chic Barbie (3) from Amazon. What would a cowgirl be without a horse? Get a Jumbo Plush Horse (5) from Country Door for your little one. Last but not least, no cowgirl has ever been able to avoid getting muddy, but that doesn't mean your little cowgirl should not do it in style. Smokey Mountain Wild Horses Rubber Boots (6) are perfect for such occasions.
