Miami-Dade Transit is looking for full-time bus operators

Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public works (DTPW) is seeking candidates for the position of Full Time Bus Operator. Applications are accepted on miamidade.gov/jobs via December 31st.

Trainees of bus operators will win $ 15.49 per hour, and after successfully completing the training program, you will earn $ 16.32 per hour to start, plus built-in overtime and an additional 1.5% allowance added to the base salary of bus operators, and the ability to earn double time to work on observed county holidays.

• A high school diploma or general education diploma (GED).

• Proof of having passed general knowledge, Air-Brake and Passenger transport Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) exam test sections (current and valid CDL license).
